The Common Room
An independent drinking den on Saville Row, The Common Room is one of Bath’s original late-night bars. An institution on the city’s party scene since the rose-tinted haze of the swinging 60s, the Common Room opened its doors in its current guise back in 2005. These days, the retro glam surroundings are buzzing well into the early hours. The bar has a particular love for rum, with over 150 varieties from around the world – served neat, on the rocks or mixed into classic and creative cocktails – to tempt you. There’s also a stunning spirits selection alongside draught beers, cider, fine wines and an extensive cocktail list. We’ve got Solful Sounds on the decks every Friday and Saturday night and a host of events throughout the month, from live music nights to artisan markets.
